EVENT CALENDAR

Training Management Information Systems (TMIS) is a data collection, storage, retrieval, processing and dissemination system specifically designed for use by decision makers and administrators to plan and administer training systems, education systems more efficiently and effectively.  TMIS would be a truly Relational Database Management System (RDMS) which includes main indicators such as training providers, employers, school leavers and graduate / trainees. TMIS would be maintained by TVET Section of Department of Higher Education which is under Ministry of Hman Resources, Youth and Sports. 

TMIS will maintain the logical linkages between Employees, Trainers, Trainees (Graduates) and School Leavers.  These interrelationships are the key in developing true training requirements, planning system and would enable better decision making. This system would enable more efficient use of Information Technology (IT) within TVET Section as the proper use of IT is crucial to TVET to maintain the records effectively and to make timely decisions.
